Out of Hours School Care

Parktone Primary School has an excellent before and after school care program. It is run by qualified caregivers from Camp Australia. The centre is also available for all students from St John Vianneys Primary School.

Before school care is open from 7:15 – 8:45am and breakfast is provided.

After school care is open from 3:30 – 6:00pm and the children eat a healthy snack at the start of the afternoon program.

The children can choose from a number of permanent activities that are set up around the room. There is a indoor sandpit, a construction corner (Lego, Mobilo, building blocks), air hockey table, pool table, table tennis table, grade 5/6 clubroom where older and younger children can sit and socialise away from active children, books, board games, puzzles, wooden train set laid out with papier mache tunnels and mountains, a newly built mini supermarket, dress up box, our pet bearded dragon (lizard) Jo Jo, masses of art/craft material including recycled objects and lots more.

The children can choose how they spend their time at OSHC (Out of School Hours Care) and are encouraged to participate in the programmed activities or to make their own activities. Call our wondersful coordinator Jess Wilson on 0422 008 223 for further information.
